Omotergents Return & Refund Policy



This policy is designed in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (South Africa) and outlines the
circumstances under which products purchased from Omotergents may be returned, replaced, or
refunded.
Preparing Products for Return
To ensure that your return request is processed efficiently, customers are required to prepare products for
return in accordance with the following requirements:

  • Products must be packaged securely to protect them during transit.
  • The return reference number provided by Omotergents must be clearly marked on the outside of
    the parcel.
  • All accessories, caps, packaging materials, and components originally sold with the product must
    be included.
    Failure to comply with these requirements may delay the processing of your return or result in the return
    being declined.
  1. Returning Unwanted Products
    1.1 Conditions for Returns
  • The product must be unused and undamaged.
  • The product must still have its original labels and safety seals intact.
  • The product must be returned in its original packaging.
  • The product must include all accessories and components supplied at the time of purchase.
  • A return request must be logged within seven (7) days of delivery or purchase.
    1.2 Non-Returnable Products
  • Products that have been opened or used.
  • Products removed from their original packaging.
  • Cleaning chemicals or detergents where the safety seal has been broken.

Customers are responsible for the cost of returning unwanted products unless the return is due to an
incorrect, defective, or damaged product.
1.4 Refund Processing
Once the returned product has been received and inspected to ensure compliance with this policy,
Omotergents will process an exchange or refund within ten (10) business days.

  1. Incorrect Products
    If a product delivered to you is incorrect or does not match the description provided at the time of
    purchase, you must notify Omotergents as soon as reasonably possible.
    In accordance with the Consumer Protection Act, Omotergents will arrange collection of the incorrect
    product at no cost to the customer within the Republic of South Africa.
    Once the product has been inspected and the return validated, customers may choose one of the following
    remedies:
  • Delivery of the correct product (subject to availability).
  • A full refund of the purchase price within ten (10) days.
  1. Products Damaged on Delivery
    If a product is damaged, leaking, or missing components at the time of delivery or collection, the customer
    must notify Omotergents as soon as possible.
    The product must be returned for inspection. Once validated, Omotergents will replace the product or
    issue a refund.
  2. Charges and Refund Methods
    If a product is returned without all components or packaging originally supplied, Omotergents reserves the
    right to deduct the value of missing items or refuse the return.
    Refunds will be processed using the original payment method used during purchase:
  • Credit card payments will be refunded to the same credit card.
  • Instant EFT payments will be refunded to the customer’s nominated bank account.
  • Cash payments will be refunded in cash.
